Afro-Pop Prince, Oxlade kicks off summer with his first solo single of the year, ‘Arabambi’. Produced by renowned hitmaker Tmxo, this mid-tempo, love song is a colourful blend of the singer’s signature range and emotive, heartfelt lyricism.

Arabambi’ is a narrative of love and loyalty. Known for his dynamic sound and compelling storytelling, Oxlade captures the essence of a deep and unwavering connection. This charming dialogue rests on a bed of guitar riffs, woven with melodic richness, reinforced by groove-driven rhythm.

Reflecting on ‘Arabambi,’ Oxlade shared “Arabambi means “the child of the people”, “the community gave birth to this child”, “the one”. It’s also the nickname of K1 De Ultimate, an iconic Nigerian Fuji musician. The melody is inspired by the American singer Miguel and the way he uses his vocals. It’s a love song but it’s still me in my braggadocious elements. It is the original song I was meant to perform for COLORSxSTUDIOS before I swapped it for ‘Ku Lo Sa’”.

His hits have topped the charts, and his collaborations with generational acts like Bob Marley and Whitney Houston.
