TWITCH 4EVA SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘GIVE UP’

Afrobeats’ romantic gangster Twitch 4Eva has just released his new single ‘Give Up’ produced by Yung D3mz.

‘Give Up’ is a personal take on Twitch 4Eva’s mind-state, at the time of recording, the internal struggle of who he is perceived to be and who he truly is. ‘Give Up’ is a real, raw and open take on his thoughts but also a reminder to never give up. Twitch explores the dilemma of relying on others and putting yourself first, but he wants to encourage others not to Give Up on themselves, their dreams and whatever they desire…it is all possible

Singer and songwriter Twitch 4EVA emerged from the streets of Accra with his own brand of “coastal music” that blends Afrobeats with the smoother sound of alternative R&B. Singing from an early age, Twitch grew up on a mixture of local sounds, imported R&B, and choir practice, and cites genre-defiant artists like Ghanaian singer Efya as his inspiration.

While these wide-ranging influences inform his unique and expansive sound, in his writing Twitch 4EVA wears his heart on his sleeve. The self-professed “romantic gangsta” creates worlds with his pen, with lyrics in his local dialect that capture who he is, at that moment in time, vulnerably, truthfully, and humbly.

With this original sound that is coloured by his heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies, Twitch 4EVA certainly isn’t going unnoticed in Ghana’s vibrant music scene. After making waves collaborating with the likes of Kwesi

Arthur, Amaarae, P. Montana, and super-producer Juls, Twitch dropped his first solo cut LOST in 2020. On the4-track EP, he crafts a tender new era of Afropop with ease.

Over such a short span of time, Twitch 4EVA has already established himself as one of the most alluring personas in Afrobeats. And with his native Ghana already convinced he’s a standout talent, it’s time to let the world know.
