Grammy Award-Nominated Star, Jordan Adetunji Continues Landmark Rise with Scintillating New Single, “X N the City”

  • May 8, 2025

“Jordan Adetunji’s rapidly growing collection of hits reflects the cohesive sound he’s landed on. A dense, futuristic kind of melodic R&B that suffocates you with intense kick patterns and heavy, lingering keys, his is a unique vibe with roots in US club music, hyperpop and drill.”

– ROLLING STONE UK

GRAMMY® Award-nominated star Jordan Adetunji is back with his scintillatingly stimulating new single, “X n The City,” available now via 300 Entertainment/Warner UK. Produced by chart-topping, multi-platinum production duo Take A Daytrip, “X n The City” marks the eagerly awaited follow-up to Adetunji’s breakthrough mixtape, A Jaguar’s Dream, available now HERE.

The critically acclaimed project sees the Belfast, UK artist seamlessly blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, hyperpop, and more into a singularly global sound all his own on such poignant and powerful tracks as“305 (feat. Bryson Tiller),” “Bitter,” “Dirty Diana,” “Too Many Women (feat. kwn),” “Options (feat. Lil Baby),” and of course, the RIAA Platinum-certified blockbuster hit, “KEHLANI.”

Currently boasting over 600M streams and counting, the latter track has quickly proven an unstoppable worldwide sensation, earning a 2025 GRAMMY® Award nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance, a BRIT Awards 2025 nod as Song of the Year, and a MOBO Award nod for Song of the Year.

Adetunji also scored a MOBO nomination for Best Newcomer and a Best New Hip-Hop Artist nomination at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “KEHLANI” – which reached #1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic chart and the Top 25 on the Hot 100 – is joined by an official remix featuring the 5x GRAMMY® Award-nominated Kehlani herself, with official music videos for both “KEHLANI” and “KEHLANI REMIX (feat. Kehlani)” amassing over 112M cumulative views via YouTube alone.

Recently included on Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 Europe Class of 2025, featured on the cover of Rolling Stone UK’s Future of Music 2025 issue, and named MTV’s Global PUSH Artist for February 2025, Adetunji celebrated his ongoing ascent to superstardom with his biggest world headline tour thus far, including sold-out dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Paris, London, and Amsterdam, as well as his show-stopping US festival debut at Inglewood, CA’s Rolling Loud California.
