Ghanaian Music Business and industry executive Daniel Ahenkorah, has been admitted into the prestigious Grammy Recording Academy.

Widely known as Yaw Dan, he joins the academy as part the Class of 2025, with a careered marked by a profound understanding of the music business, particularly an expertise in music licensing and acquisition. 

In addition to this significant honor, Yaw Dan will also be stepping into a new role as the A&R (Artists and Repertoire) lead for the music distribution platform, OneRPM.

Demonstrating a unique ability to navigate the complex legalities of intellectual property. Yaw Dan effectively connecting artists, composers, and businesses to foster mutually beneficial relationships fuelling his dedication to bridging the gap between artistic creativity and commercial viability.

Before these new appointments, Yaw Dan held key positions at Boomplay Music, Ghana, where he served as lead curator and later as Head of Content and Partnerships, showcasing his leadership and deep industry knowledge.
