The world of Afrobeats may be jam-packed with releases, but Tdooooo’s aptly titled debut single, ‘Meant to Be,’ rises above the noise with its uniqueness. This high-energy, heartfelt ode to love’s ups and downs firmly establishes the artist as the quintessential heartthrob. With an intense delivery, his lyrics ignite MikeMillzOn’Em’s bass-heavy production, turning it into a high-energy banger.

Tdooooo’s vocals unsurprisingly remain the star of the show. His rich, textured tone pumps unmistakable character into the song, priming it with raw emotion and authenticity. “‘Meant to Be’ is inspired by my love life,” he shares. “Sometimes our relationships are a mess, but most times, it gets messy before it gets beautiful, hence this song. I hope to stimulate audiences worldwide with this piece and prove it’s my time to shine.”

For anyone yet to discover the magic of Tdooooo, born Terry Frimpong Gasper, he is a rising Virginia-based Ghanaian artist infatuated with Afrobeats and Afropop. At 23 and brimming with potential, the emerging star is on a journey to make Afrobeats his own–the gravelly undertones of his voice and optimistic perspective on life offer him the perfect base to be an artist to watch.
