Its days after the official TGMA release of new artists nominations for the 27th edition of celebrating Ghana music in grandeur.
While just a few made the cut, this year was a good year for artists reintroducing themselves to the mainstream music scene in Ghana which has just taken a positive turn for Ghanaian music lovers.

Alor G

Kwartengg
A musical genius who explores his creativity as an indie artist making contemporary music and music videos. The undefined sound of Kwartengg is fresh in the Ghanaian scene – his dope single “As It Is” gave him the needed attention he deserves in 2025.

Gonaboy
Gonaboy is an artist making waves with Street rap and Reggae fusion. Although his sound was making waves in the underground, the 2025 single “Same Timbs” gave him mainstream traction in Ghana. Other fan favourites “Abele” and “Hustlers Mantra” shows what more to expect coming in 2026 and beyond.
